This privacy policy (“Policy”) describes how Cornell University and its affiliates (the “Organization”) collect, use and share personal information of collected from consumer users of this website and https://cvent.me/d8kNAm (the “Site”). This Policy also applies to any of our other websites that post this Policy. This Policy does not apply to websites that post different statements.

WHAT WE COLLECT

We get information about you in a range of ways.

Information You Give Us. We collect your name, postal address, email address, phone number, fax number, username, password, demographic information (such as your gender and occupation) as well as other information you directly give us on our Site. By participating in the Summit as a speaker or attendee, you grant the Organization a non-exclusive license to make, use, transcribe, publish, display, and distribute, in whole or in part, any recorded footage or photographs in which my name, likeness, image, and/or voice may be included (hereinafter “Recordings”). This includes, without limitation, a license to edit, use, or reuse Recordings as it may desire. This includes the right to use said recordings for promotion or publicizing any of these uses and to publish them on any media including, but not limited to social media, websites, brochures, emails, and signage.

All permissions and releases granted by you herein shall extend and apply to Cornell University’s assignees, contractors, sublicensed distributors, successors, and agents. You hereby waive any and all right that you may have to inspect or approve the finished product or printed matter that may be used in connection therewith. With regard to any part of a presentation that does contain material for which you do not hold copyright, you represent that you have obtained the unrestricted permission of the copyright owner to grant the Organization the rights required by this license, and that such third-party owned material is clearly identified and acknowledged within the text or content of the presentation and/or presentation materials.

You expressly release the Organization and all persons acting under its permission or authority from any claim or liability arising out of or in any way connected with the above uses and representations including any and all claims for defamation or copyright infringement.

Information We Get From Others. We may get information about you from other sources. We may add this to information we get from this Site.

Information Automatically Collected. We automatically log information about you and your computer. For example, when visiting our Site, we log your computer operating system type, browser type, browser language, the website you visited before browsing to our Site, pages you viewed, how long you spent on a page, access times and information about your use of and actions on our Site.
