Cornell experts to discuss food, ag trends at Grow-NY Summit
“A Call For Innovation: New York’s Agrifood System,” a report published by Cornell’s Center for Regional Economic Advancement, is the basis for the topics to be addressed at this year’s Grow-NY Food and Ag Summit. The event brings together the top food and agriculture startups and innovators at the Syracuse OnCenter on November 16-17.
The Grow-NY Summit features an education symposium with thought-provoking panel discussions and fireside chats led by Cornell leaders in food and agriculture. By strutting the symposium around the report’s finding, Grow-NY and the Center of Excellence for Food and Agriculture at Cornell AgriTech aim to attract new ideas to the region, helping farmers and food processors connect with technologies and services that will enable them to be successful, while reducing costs and environmental impacts.
